Hanna: d-ring high neck romper and a sheepskin leather biker jacket by Topshop, Spencer: gathered seam dress by Zara, Aria: Sidecca black and green ballerina printed halter double strapped dress

It was Aria’s big night on Tuesday and she looked great with the Sidecca black and green ballerina printed halter double strapped dress. She wanted to make a statement with her dress, that sadly got overshadowed by A once again. But I think she had the art gallery scene vibe going on, just like she wanted.

Aria’s style has been slightly different this season, but all of her pieces have gone great with her new hair cut. I don’t think she would have looked as good in this dress with her longer hair. Her new hair style allows her to change things up.

Spencer dressed up for the occasion too! She wore a gathered seam dress by Zara. This dress is still available and is on sale for $29.99. To really match Spencer’s look, make sure to top it off with a belt. Nordstrom carries a similar belt to the one she wore.

I would have thought Hanna would have worn a nice dress to support Aria at the gallery, but she wore a d-ring high neck romper and a sheepskin leather biker jacket by Topshop. It was a nice romper, but not quite appropriate for the occasion. I loved the biker jacket, but I have a thing for biker jackets. I don’t think it was the right choice for the art show though.

I absolutely loved the snake print shift dress by Sam Edelman Hanna wore with a razor buckled belt by Alexander McQueen. I loved the colors and the design. Hanna always looks great in dresses and I love when they all add a belt to complete their look. The dress doesn’t quite look the same without the belt.

She should have worn the snake print dress to the gallery.

The shift dress is on sale at Lord & Taylor for $71.40, the belt is unfortunately sold out.

I also loved the shirt Aria was wearing in the beginning of the episode. She wore a muscle tank with a beaded snake by Haute Hippie. The shirt was so simple and elegant.

Next week is prom, so stay tuned for a lot of great fashion from the dance!

‘The Vampire Diaries’: Season 7 May be Kat Graham’s Last

Nina Dobrev just left The Vampire Diaries and Kat Graham may soon follow her.

Kat (Bonnie Bennett) told Hunger TV that she’s excited to do a seventh season because she doesn’t feel like her character’s story is complete yet. She’s also happy that Bonnie is finally out of the other dimension.

Kat said that Bonnie’s relationship with Damon and other characters hasn’t been fully developed yet and she wanted to explore that more.

“I didn’t feel like the character’s story was done, I felt that there was more that they could do, but I won’t say I would do a season eight, it really depends on whether I’m fulfilled, and whether we’re like ‘Okay, this story’s been told, and we’re good to go,'” Kat told Hunger TV.

We’ll have to see what the writers give Kat to work with this season and see if she will want to continue.

TVD may not even go on for an eighth season. Season seven could be the last. I personally think it should be the last. The whole dynamic of the show will be different without Elena. Most of the storylines revolved around Elena.

Unless the writers can reinvent the show, it should probably start winding down.

I will say that Caroline has been my favorite female character on the show since the second season. So if the writers give Candice Accola a great storyline, I may root for TVD to continue. I’m a huge Steroline fan and I can’t wait to see these two finally get together.

I’m also excited for what’s to come for Bonnie. She was super powerful when she came back from the prison world and now she has to deal with the fact that while she’s alive, Elena sleeps. Kat will have a lot of great stuff to work with this season.

The dynamic on set will probably be different for the cast this season too, without Nina.

“For me that’s my f—ing girl, like she’s the most real girl, next to Claire Holt who was also on the show, that I also had a great connection with. It will be very weird for me to not have her there,” Kat told Hunger TV.

Even if Kat does leave the show after season seven, you won’t have to miss her. She has a new album coming out this year and her new single just dropped this month. Her new album is inspired by the 90s and her first single off the album was entitled 1991.

Do you think TVD should continue after season seven? Will you be sad if Kat leaves the show?

Listen to Kat’s new single featuring Babyface:

‘Scream’ Review: Everyone is Exposed

Scream is reminding me a lot of Pretty Little Liars, only there's a lot more players involved.

Scream is reminding me a lot of Pretty Little Liars, only there’s a lot more players involved.

The killer stayed mostly in the background this week and watched while the aftermath of his handy work played out.

It certainly seems like he wanted them to find that video and upload it and there’s a lot more to that video.

Nina’s spirit is living on. She’s left a lot of destruction behind. She bet Will he couldn’t sleep with Emma in a month and Will took that bet. Emma just found out and she’s furious. Things are about to get much worse for Will though. He wanted nothing to do with the blackmailing, but Jake is setting him up to take the fall. If the mayor did kill his wife, then who knows what he’ll do to Will.

Jake brings the biggest question marks to my mind. He purposely tore his friendship with Will apart and he used too much force with the mayor. He could easily be calling Emma and playing these sick games with her. Even if he’s not the killer, he’s still a dick. He’s enjoying telling Brooke her father’s dirty secrets a little too much. I’ll be keeping an eye on him for the next few episodes.

I don’t believe the killer is Mr. B. He’s the perfect fall guy though, especially since he’s sleeping with a student. There may be plenty of evidence making him look guilty, but there always is.

I really like Audrey and I don’t want her to be the killer. She’s supper tough and has a great motive, but along with not wanting her to be, I don’t think she is. I know Piper was trying to make us be suspicious of her, but really I just got suspicious of Piper. The reporter was the killer in the second film and was always around. That gives Piper the perfect opportunity to be the killer.

The killer stayed pretty quite this week. He only popped up to torment Emma about the video, interrupt the candle vigil and to continue the game. And he doesn’t want Emma to tell the new detective in town anything or he’ll kill her mom. A lot of threats, but not a lot of action this week. He called her the ‘new Emma’. It seems she’s playing right into his hands. Whoever the killer is, he knows the players very well.

Through everything, I don’t know how Emma has even a chance to get in a new relationship. I know life goes on, but really, she’s going to sleep with him. She hardly knows the guy and he should at least take her out first. This relationship is moving way too fast and it’s sure to blow up in her face.

While she’s starting something with Kieran, her mother is starting something with his father, the Sheriff, but technically they had already started something. This could get a little awkward.

We also learned Sheriff Hudson’s secret. He use to take pills and sleep with his partner. It seems everyone has a sorted past or even present in Lakewood. I wonder what Kieran’s dark secret is. I feel like we know so little about him. He’s so mysterious, which is why Emma is being sucked right in.

Next week Emma faces her fears, Jake is looking more suspicious and Audrey is brought in for questioning.

‘Pretty Little Liars’ Review: ‘A’ Wants His Dolls Back

We knew something was coming when A and Red Coat were working security at the gallery.

We knew something was coming when A and Red Coat were working security at the gallery.

Whenever the girls meet someone I’m always suspicious of them. Could this be A getting to them? And once again I was nervous about Clarke and I was right to be.

If Rhys is A, then Clarke is working with A. If he’s not A, it still looks really suspicious. Why was he going into a abandoned doll factory? I was already questioning him more when he said it was a first for him at the gallery and then Aria had to remind him he won an award before. He then had to come up with excuses to why his parents weren’t there, which were all valid excuses, if he didn’t all ready fumble.

To be fair, most of the girls met their significant other through not so great circumstances. Caleb fell for Hanna because he was getting paid by Jenna to do work and Ezra used his chance meeting with Aria to investigate Ali’s murder. Toby and Spencer fell for each other when they were being framed and investigating Jenna. So none of these couples have a great ‘how we met’ story. But in the end these guys have really been there for the girls. So we tend to over look how they met. Hopefully that doesn’t come back to haunt us.

Just take Emily’s new budding romance with Sara, also not a great ‘how we met’ story.

Ezra thinks A is desperate, but this is just typical A. What’s scary is the fact that A is not just sending messages to the liars anymore, Tanner got a message of her own. A wants his dolls back.

I still want to know why A is obsessed with Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna. Assuming A is Charles, it made sense that it all started with Ali, but why her friends? Was he jealous of Ali and wanted to play with the girls instead. Because at first the messages did seem like they were from Ali.

I was almost thinking Ali had changed then she went and stole Lorenzo’s badge. While I think she genuinely likes this guy, you can’t stop the curiosity these girls have and for Ali that’s even more because this is her brother. Even though she doesn’t know the boy, she still feels for him and wants to know him.

Hanna was so mean when she spoke about Charles. She’s so angry, but she needs to realize this is different for Ali. It is her brother they are talking about and even if she doesn’t know him, that doesn’t change the emotions she’s having right now.

And what is Hanna’s mom going to do when she finds out Hanna gave back the scholarship money? How will she pay for college? I realize the money may be dirty or just something A can rip back later, but Hanna still needs to think about her future.

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen red coat! Was that who sent Charles a gift last week? Soon we will finally know who red coat is too. It’s all leading to the summer finale now. We can finally have all of the answeres revealed.

It’s crazy that the school and the parents want the liars not to go to prom. I get how dangerous it is right now, but it’s prom! I don’t know how they convince their parents to let them go, but as you’ll see from the promo they are all at the dance. And Ali goes there to meet Charles.

‘The Whispers’ Gave Me More Than I Expected

2hx7kw9trffd4zm9vnxtub0jzcluslym-sjoku3hjjaopyetiwwlpuj-hlul1p-8glfib2rz8z0eoik346cc_yjghq7i9p-bezdnps7hm7yrkaf91hcwfpy1ie4cjvb7ekqu1j4tqz5o6zr018nhrqsdnrf7dgjnqsdxkungnvmyqy1t4xjr159hrfWhen The Whispers first began I was really just excited to see Barry Sloan because I had missed him so much on Revenge. I was also looking forward to seeing Milo Ventimiglia, especially after his role on Gotham. The show has given me much more than allowing me to watch actors I love in a new show. It’s given me a great story to follow and a great new Sci-fi twist.

Aliens have been done so many times. It’s like anything on TV or film, it’s all been done before. I’ve never seen aliens like this before and it makes it so much creepier when we can’t see our enemy. It also makes is scarier that they are communicating through our children.

The chemistry between Barry and Lilly Rabe really drew me in. It was horrible that I was shipping two people who were already married and who had an affair. But they were just so great on screen together.

Now that Milo’s character, Sean, is back with his family and he has his memory back, I’ve kind of stopped shipping Wes and Claire, not completely though. I can’t help it, they have such great chemistry together. But Claire and Sean are working as a team to save not only their son, but everyone’s children.

The writers have worked hard only giving us pieces of information about Drill each week. Now we know a lot more about him and we are so close to knowing how to kill him. The only thing stopping us is a man’s life hanging in the balance. If they can save him, we can know how to save Earth, if they can’t save him, hopefully someone is as smart as he was.

But are we sure he actually killed Drill? Could he have gotten too old to talk to Drill or could have Drill just have gone home? The man is unstable after all he’s been through. It’s hard to trust what he’s saying at the moment.

Or is everything as it seems? This man knows how to kill Drill and all they have to do is save him.

I especially like how the writers have written the government’s role in all of this. They’re are manipulative and will make up the rules as they go. It doesn’t matter if their own people are fighting to save their country and world. Will they work with Wes, Sean and Claire or against them? It seems to me as Claire says in the preview, they need them.

I feel like this is such a believable alien story and with scientists just finding a planet that’s earth’s closest match yet, it feels more real than ever.

Next week The Whispers is back and they must figure out how to defeat the enemy:

‘The Originals’: Nathaniel Buzolic Is Coming Back as Kol

Twilihours | photobucket.com

Twilihours | photobucket.com

I’m not sure how I feel about Nathaniel Buzolic reprising his role as Kol. On the one hand, I’m very excited, but on the other hand, I really enjoyed Daniel Sharman as Kol and I would really love to see him come back.

For the time being, we know we’ll be seeing Nathaniel in the premiere episode in a flashback.

“From what I understand, this is going to be a flashback-heavy season, which is cool, because it means there’s more opportunity for Kol to come back and you can see more of him,” Nathaniel told TVLine.

So does this mean if Davina succeeds in bringing Kol back, he’ll be in a different body yet again? I would love them to bring Daniel back for that. He had great chemistry with Danielle Campbell, but sadly I think it will be someone new.

If you are really missing Nathaniel, you won’t have to wait long to see him as Kol again, but if October is too long, he’s also starring in another CW show premiering August 3, 9:30/8:30c.

Nathaniel was always quite funny as Kol, so him playing Jimmy on Significant Mother may be cute. Jimmy starts dating his best friend’s mother, while his friend is away on a business trip.

He told TVLine that part of his deal with Significant Mother was that he could still be available for The Originals.

“I’m incredibly grateful to Julie Plec for giving me that opportunity; being a part of that show has been a life-changing experience for me. I’ll always have a soft spot for that character,” Nathaniel said.

Will you check out Nathaniel in his new show?

Which Kol do you like better, Nathaniel or Daniel?

Check out the promo for Significant Mother. FYI, it has a naked Nathaniel in it:

New Faces for ‘TVD’ and ‘The Originals’

the-vampire-diaries-season-6There will be a lot of new faces on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals when the two supernatural shows return in the fall.

There are two more heretics joining the female heretics, Valerie, Nora and Mary Louise.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Justice Leak (Powers) will play Malcolm, who doesn’t like to be told no. He’s the eldest of the heretics and is described as the golden child. EW said: “But when he’s alone, he has the sneering, aloof air of somebody who’s been alive a very long time—with no fear of death.” Justice will make his debut on TVD in the season seven premiere.

Jaiden Kaine (Zoo) will play what sounds to be a very interesting character, Beau. He’s described as a “scary, solemn and dangerous man,” according to EW. His vocal cords were slashed and he can’t speak, but makes up for it by being very powerful. He’s also very loyal to his heretic family. Jaiden will also make his debut in the season premiere.

TVD is getting more new characters besides the heretics. Tim Kang (The Mentalist) will play Oscar, who has a surprising connection to the Salvatores, EW reported. He’s been living a Zen lifestyle off the grid for months. All of this ends when a “supernatural intervention turns him into a feral killer.”

Todd Lasance will join the cast to play Julian, a feared and legendary immoral. It sounds like Damon may have some competition next season. Julian has a “reputation for excelling in earthly pleasures.”

Depending on who you ask, he’s a creep or full of charisma. He’s always on the run leaving chaos behind him and attracts a lot of dangerous followers. He only fears being forgotten, which is unlikely.

Todd and Tim will make their debuts in episode three.

The Originals is also adding three new faces for season three.

Lawrence Kao (The Walking Dead) will play a handsome and stubborn witch, Van. He’s always stayed out of the coven’s politics, but after tragedy strikes he finds himself sucked into the war. Lawrence will first appear in episode two.

Oliver Ackland (Satisfaction) will play a vampire who has a complicated history with the Originals. Tristan was born into wealth and power, which has inflated his ego. EW said: “With those he loves, he can be equal parts warm and caring, obsessive and co-dependent. But with his enemies, he is cruel and completely merciless.”

Oliver will also appear in episode two.

The Originals is also getting another female character: “a beautiful and enigmatic vampire.” Rebecca Breeds (Pretty Little Liars) will play Aurora. She likes to draw men to her, but she can also kill those same men without even thinking about it. Rebecca will make her debut in the season premiere.

Which new character are you most looking forward to meeting?

TVD  and The Originals return back to back on Thursday, October 8, 8/7c  on the CW.

‘True Detective’ Review: Everything is in Ruins

I was so scared at this part, but then I remembered, Ani is a bad ass.

I was so scared at this part, but then I remembered, Ani is a bad ass.

At first when Ani was going into the party, I thought she’s got this. Then when they gave her the Molly, I was very worried.

I thought something was going to happen in the party, but I wasn’t sure what and I wasn’t expecting more character development. Ani’s character is starting to take shape. While she was trying to maneuver her way around the party, a suppressed memory from her childhood came back. When she was young a man lured her into a VW bus by saying they would search for unicorns. It appears she may have been raped as a child and that makes total sense why she is the way she is with men.

The whole party wasn’t a lost cause though, she found her missing person. It wasn’t easy getting her out though. She may have killed a man. This scene really made me love Rachel McAdam’s character. She’s so high and can’t even see straight, but she still manages to fight her way out.

It’s scary to think you have to get high to work a case. She’s probably never done that before and probably didn’t know how she would react to it. I don’t know why one of the girls said it keeps you happy, because that just looked scary to me.

Paul was also able to get some contracts with a lot of signatures with a deal going down. So at least Ani didn’t suffer for nothing. Though she’s feeling very uneasy about the whole experience.

Ray got a little high this week, but that was all on him. He didn’t like having supervised visits with his son, so he went home, got some blow and alcohol and really just over did it. He was going so wild I thought for sure he would overdose. Instead he trashed his apartment and called his ex-wife. I don’t think that was the best state of mind to make a life changing decision like that.

As long as he solves his case he can get his son back, so why give up now? Is he really that terrified that his son is not his. That doesn’t even matter, the deal is, solve the case, get his son, whether it’s biologically his or not. I think he should still fight for his son.

I want to believe Frank when he says he thought the information was good. Especially after he got so upset over the girl being killed. He can clearly be a bad guy, but he doesn’t like to kill innocent people.

We almost found out who killed Caspere. We know it’s a thin, white, cop. So everything is corrupted. No wonder Ani, Paul and Ray are doing a special investigation.

Frank may have to be careful, he’s dealing with some dangerous people. They killed an innocent girl just to partner with him.

Only two more episodes left and things are getting very dangerous:

‘PLL’: All the Fashion from Season 6 Episode 7

PLL fashion 7:21Hanna had a very different look this week. She was very sophisticated up top and then very casual on the bottom half with ripped jeans.

I thought the jacket didn’t really match her usual style, but the shirt kind of made it a bit better.

The Agnette jacket is by IRO and is actually altered, the top is twister jersey and lace by Maje and the Jessica low rise jeggings are by Ditto.

I really liked the the Iris stripe cold shoulder top by Tanya Taylor Aria was wearing. I think she should have worn this with out the jacket the entire episode. Only because it’s such a cute shirt with the shoulders cut out and what’s the point of wearing a jacket over it when you can’t see that element of the shirt? If you like this shirt too, it can be yours for $197.78 at Nordstorm.

The Augie denim and leather jacket is by Bcbgmaxazria and is sadly no longer available.

I love Spencer, but I’m not always a fan of her fashion, but I really liked her look this week. The color looked so good on her. She wore a floral-print button-front dress by Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply with a lavender cardigan. She looked really pretty this week.

I also loved Mona’s look from this week. I don’t know what any of it is, but I loved that blue printed shirt and I especially loved those earrings!

‘TVD’ Alum Steven R. McQeen Joins the Cast of ‘Chicago Fire’

Jeremy the graduate!

Jeremy graduated from vampires and now he’s on to fires.

I have yet another reason to get hooked on Chicago Fire. Steven R. McQueen has given up hunting vampires for fighting fires.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Steven has signed on to Chicago Fire in a recurring role as new candidate Jimmy Borelli.

EW reported that Jimmy will have a really bad first day. He does something that doesn’t sit well with Chief Boden, which means it doesn’t sit well with anyone.

It will be really strange in Mystic Falls next season in The Vampire Diaries with no Gilberts. At least Steven, who played Jeremy Gilbert, has found a new home pretty quickly.

Since Chicago Fire is going into its fourth season, I have a lot of catching up to do. I’ve seen the pilot and all of the crossover episodes with Chicago PD, but I’ve never managed to sit down and watch the whole series yet.

We watched Steven grow up on TVD and it will be strange seeing him in a new role, but I’m excited to see him grow as an actor. First I’ll have to binge watch Chicago Fire before the fall.

Who else will be tuning into Chicago Fire just for Steven? Will you be missing him on TVD next season?

Chicago Fire returns Tuesday, October 13 at 10/9c on NBC.
