Revenge Season 3 Episode 17

Revenge-Season-3-PosterAiden has been dragged back into the mix because of his father. I don’t know how Emily will feel about Aiden having a personal stake in the mission now, but at least he was able to figure out what TWM meant. Emily had come to a complete dead end and had no ideas on where to go next. Then walked in Aiden and they are back in it again.

I’m really mad at Daniel for putting bad thoughts about Emily into Margaux’s head. There is nothing going on between Jack and Emily at the moment, though fans may like to see their childhood crushes rekindled, it doesn’t seem to be in the cards at the moment. Jack is very much in love with Margaux and he didn’t encourage her to go to Rome because he wanted to get back with Emily. He encouraged her because he didn’t want to be the reason she turned down an opportunity and because he wanted her out of the way when Emily made her move. Jack was encouraging Emily to work things out with Aiden, but that is all to complicated for him to explain to Margaux.

I’m not sure how I feel about Margaux pushing her dad out. It’s not that she did it, it’s that she aligned herself with Daniel and the ways she did it. I know her and Daniel have been friends for a long time, but he’s changed, Emily changed him. I don’t like the man Daniel has become and I don’t think Margaux will either when she sees it.

So last week I was thinking that Stevie may be a good ally. This week I think she’s too vulnerable to be a good ally. She almost took a drink after an intense conversation with Conrad. I realize the Graysons are not the easiest people to deal with, but she needs to be stronger than that. If she’s not, why did she come back?

Check out the preview for next week. Victoria is determined to find out what Emily’s plan is:

Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Episode 17

86507-greys-anatomy-fans-can-rest-easy-chief-webber-is-safe-there-he-is-righThis was a little bit of a strange episode because we know that Cristina is leaving at the end of the season and we know how she feels about kids. We got a glimpse at what could happen if Cristina and Owen got back together, and two outcomes that could happen. One, that she eventually has kids and her career suffers. The other, is they break up, yet again, and her career flourishes, but Owen’s falls apart. I don’t know if the second outcome is as likely. I think Owen is a lot stronger than that vision gave him credit for.

After the emotional roller coaster that was Cristina and Owen’s life, we hardly get an outcome at all. Cristina walks away. Which is probably the best thing that she could have done. If Owen and her are really over, then Cristina’s parting is just around the corner. But her and Meredith have repaired their relationship, so how are those two going to be when Cristina leaves. In whatever way she will leave.

It’s still hard to picture the show after Cristina leaves. There’s still a lot of characters left to carry the show, but Cristina has been the heart since the beginning.

The final season of Private Practice had episodes for each character, much like this one. Was this the episode meant to be a goodbye for Cristina?

I never know how I feel about episodes like this, that don’t really propel the story. It’s just what could have been. I hardly ever watch these episodes again.

Check out the preview for next week. There’s a virus going around the hospital and it’s infecting the doctors:

The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 17

The-Vampire-Diaries-season-5So I have two questions. Is Bonnie ok and who came out of Bonnie? That was a lot of travelers going through at once and I don’t know if that was too much for her to handle.

At first the doppelganger story was interesting, but now it seems so far fetched. Maybe this storyline will all come together nicely, we’ll have to wait and see, but I’m tired of the doppelgangers. I’m actually kind of glad that Tom was killed off so quickly, I didn’t want another Stefan floating around.

I do like when Matt gets involved. He’s human, so technically he can’t do much, but I do like when he get’s brought into the mix. Now it’s team Jeremy, Tyler and Matt, with the two new witches. This is a very interesting alliance. Whey exactly does Liv and Luke plan to do? Or maybe the better question is what are the travelers planning to do?

I’m glad that the writers have addressed Jeremy and school, because in a supernatural show, high school seems to get thrown out the window. It was much easier when they were all in high school, but now it’s difficult to work that into the plot. Jeremy’s right though, school isn’t actually important at the moment. Someone in their group is always almost dying.

I think Damon and Elena are better for each other than what they might think. Yes Damon does bad things, but he’s a much better guy with Elena than without her. Elena has more excitement with Damon. I think that the vampire Elena is much more suited with Damon than with Stefan. But I also see something blooming with Stefan and Caroline, but we’ve kind of seen this in the past as well. I don’t know if they will ever put Stefan and Caroline together or not. It could just be another relationship like he had with Lexie.

The Vampire Diaries will return April 17. Elena and Stefan are sharing dreams:

Nashville Season 2 Episode 18

132839GROUPpre-1378848420Is Deacon going to go off the edge because another one of his women have slept with Teddy? I really hope not. He has a really good thing going with Maddie and he shouldn’t jeopardize it because Megan cheated on him. And Teddy was all to willing to let Deacon take a swing at him. He just wants a reason to keep Deacon and Maddie apart. What he should be doing is keeping Deacon in on the loop. Deacon should have gotten a call to say that she wasn’t getting guitar lessons because she was grounded. What was Maddie just not supposed to show up and no one was going to tell Deacon?

Scarlet’s pills seem to be getting out of hand. The more pressure she gets put on her, the more she turns to the pills. Juliette didn’t help that at all, though. She was way too harsh on Scarlet, when it was really her own issues.

Will has gotten himself into a big mess. Jeff is onto him. He thought that marring Layla woul hide his little secret, but instead it made his secret more apparent. Gunnar was a good guy and didn’t out Will to Jeff, but Will isn’t being a good guy by marring Layla. The poor girl is risking her relationship with her parents for a guy who doesn’t really love her.

I think Rayna should have told Luke about Deacon and Maddie. I know she doesn’t want the whole world to know, but I think that since the relationship has gotten more serious, her boyfriend was one person she should have told.

Check out the preview for next week. Scarlet may ruin her career when her mother shows up and Deacon may have fallen off the wagon again:

Supernatural Season 9 Episode 17

ustv-supernatural-season-9-posterAfter nine seasons the writers are still coming up with compelling story lines and it amazes me every week.

I think it can be hard to keep a show fresh after a lot of years. Don’t get me wrong, there was a brief time that I thought the writers were lacking inspiration with their stories, but this season has been really good. I like going back to demons and angels and the new challenges that each of them face, and the challenges Sam and Dean face for defeating them.

I’ve also been enjoying the amount of time Crowley has been on screen, but I have been missing Cass and think they should be bringing him back really soon.

Sam was on a very interesting case. It seemed like just an average case, but then it led him straight to Abbadon, or well someone working for her.

It seemed as if there was multiple possessions in the town, but there was no evidence of possession. Sam guessed that they had lost their souls and that’s exactly what had happened.

Just guessing what was causing these people to lash out didn’t lead him to Abbadon’s plan though. A former nun told Sam about what happened years ago when demons had come to town. This story included Sam’s grandfather, Henry, and Josie, before Abbadon had possessed her. This woman has lived with guilt over not warning Henry all of these years, but she was young and terrified. No one can be held accountable for that. She survived and that is what matters.

So Abbadon is building a demon army. That is a scary thought. If she succeeds will there be any way of defeating her?

Crowley is also up to his own plan as usual. Was that some sort of test to see if Dean would save Crowley? Why else would a demon pretend to be a hunter and try to kill Crowley?

Supernatural returns April 15. Cass is back and Metatron is trying to play god:

Bones Season 9 Episode 18

bonesIt’s been such a long time since we’ve seen Christine, I didn’t know she was that old yet. We rarely ever get to see her. It doesn’t feel like that long ago she was born and now she’s running and talking, and how old is she now?

If children’s shows are really like this, it’s scary that kids like them so much. I know there can be a lot of drama on the sets of shows, but I guess when you think of a kid’s show, you don’t think of all that drama. I guess you hope that behind the scenes of what your kids are watching is more innocent.

This was a rare episode when no one truly killed anyone. There’s been episodes where it has been accidents because of a fight or something, then the person got rid of the body. This time the woman could not have known that honking the horn could have killed the man. I wouldn’t call that murder at all. I don’t understand why the people don’t call 911. Then they wouldn’t be going to jail for murder, but then there wouldn’t be an episode either.

I think it’s much more satisfying when they catch the bad guy, not catching an idiot that should have just called 911.

I can’t believe Clark’s book got published if it wasn’t very good. They all loved Brennan’s books, but hated Clark’s. I wonder what the publishers saw in it that the squints did not? I would have told him the truth. He could have made it a better book if he was actually told the truth.

This is one of those episodes that I like where they were with the new dynamics of the show. Booth is throwing their daughter a birthday party, but Brennan has never had one. So Brennan is dealing with issues from her childhood and how to create better memories with her daughter.

Bones will never be the show it use to be. The chemistry is different now between Brennan and Booth because they are together, but when the writers work with the changes, it makes for good television.

Check out the preview for next week. Booth wants to go to a hockey game and the squint investigate a death of a billionaire:

Revenge Season 3 Episode 16

Revenge-Season-3-PosterI’m so glad that Emily is getting a divorce from Daniel. I was so tired of her playing the pathetic wife. Emily is so much better than that. She’s a sophisticated, smart young woman and I didn’t like her stooping to that level. I realize that marrying Daniel was supposed to be good for getting inside the Graysons, but with Daniel hating her, she was no longer inside. She was only inside by name.

Stevie Grayson may prove to be a really good ally. She wants to clear David Clarks name and it looks she will help do it.

It’s about time that Jack got in on the plan and Emily is allowing him to be. I get why Emily wanted to keep him out of it, but keeping people out of it is how they get hurt. I don’t think they should leave Margaux out in the cold. They should feel her out and see what she knows, but I don’t think she has any idea.

I feel bad for Margaux being stuck in the middle. I know that her father and Conrad had a past between them and I had a feeling that it might have something to do with David Clark.

Margaux is trying to build something and her father is preventing her from doing that. Hiding the true financials from her is not going to help her build her company. Now her father appears to have done something much worse, and Emily is going to take him down and try not to let Margaux get hurt in the process. But her company is tied to him, I don’t think there’s any way she’s getting out of this unharmed.

Just look at Daniel. He’s a changed man now and he had nothing to do with it. I use to really like Daniel, but I do not like the cold, bitter man he has become.

So what is the reason why Nolan’s buddy from jail has walked onto the show? He seems to be super smart like Nolan, but can he be trusted and how much should Nolan use him?

It seems like Revenge is getting back on track after a little shaky bit of not knowing where the show was going.

Check out the preview for next week. Daniel is targeting Emily’s loved ones:

Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Episode 16

86507-greys-anatomy-fans-can-rest-easy-chief-webber-is-safe-there-he-is-righSince Owen broke up with his girlfriend I’ve been waiting for him and Cristina to get back together. It was clear that he wanted her. I don’t think Cristina could see it. She kept trying to get him hooked up with someone else, but what he wants is her. I think on some level it was always her he wanted. I’m not sure what they will do about the kid issue. That is still clearly an issue.

When I saw the preview I was very worried about Callie and Derek and Jackson and April. I at least can be at ease for Callie and Derek. They were able to work together and get what they both wanted. It was wrong that Callie had to stop her research. Derek knew that and that’s why he dreaded telling her. The White House clearly wants him on this project because when he said he was out, they were finally willing to work with him.

April and Jackson clearly have a lot to discuss. I think when they ran away from the alter they felt like it was all or nothing, so they jumped into this marriage without thinking it through. They love each other very much, but there’s a lot more to a marriage than just love.

Richard started his birthday very happy and then became upset very quickly. He thought Owen was pushing him into retirement and he thought that no one was throwing him a birthday party. Everyone was such great liars. They had a party planned and Owen even offered him a job he couldn’t turn town, Director of Residency. All of the residences look up to him and they always have.

Check out the preview for next week. This may be the breaking point of Cristina and Owen:

The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 16

The-Vampire-Diaries-season-5Everyone on The Vampire Diaries has a deeper story than they might reveal. This newbie witch has a lot more to her than meets the eye. She seems like this sweet girl who is all excited about her new found power, but as she walked into the dorm room I had this feeling that there was someone there waiting for her, and there was. But what does she want with Bonnie and why are they a threat to them? They did say Bonnie’s friends are in danger.

Is Caroline really going off to kill someone for Stefan? She’s not the kill in cold blood type, but Stefan has become her best friend. Will this be a turning point for Caroline? You can’t kill someone by choice and comeback from that. She should let Enzo do the killing.

Another doppelganger, really? I guess it makes sense, Stefan was born a long time ago, but I am getting a little tired of the doppelganger storyline.

This virus was making Elena do things she would never ever do. She almost killed two people, sadly two people that may come back and do something to them in the future. Elena was so out of control. She was imagining what Katherine was doing when Katherine had control of her body. Katherine even wrote in her diary.

I think I would be mad too if none of my friends figured out I wasn’t me. I still don’t get how when Katherine never passed through Bonnie in the first place that none of them figured it out.

I get why Damon didn’t figure it out. He thought he had finally reached the point where Elena wouldn’t see past all the bad he does. After that he didn’t see much of Elena, or as it was Katherine, so there’s no way he was going to see it. Caroline and Bonnie were the ones that should have noticed there was something different with Elena, they spent the most time with her.

Are Damon and Elena going to keep trying to make their relationship work? It took a long time for them to get together. They shouldn’t let Katherine tear them apart.

Check out the preview for next week. It looks like the newbie witch is going to show her true power:

Chicago P.D. Season 1 Episode 9

downloadCould Jay really have killed that guy? He doesn’t really have a good role model in Voight and since he didn’t confide in Erin, I’m getting very worried. I know he thought he was doing the right thing, if he did kill the guy, but he could have just destroyed his whole career.

The intelligence unit worked together to solve the case so Olinsky’s daughter wouldn’t have to testify and she still is going to have to testify. Ruzek tried to break the case on his own angle with the help of Burgess, but nothing they did would mean breaking the case without Olinsky’s daughter.

There’s a new guy in Internal Affairs and he’s all business. He wants to get things done and he not only has his eye on Voight, but Jay as well. A new detective was put into the unit to keep an eye on Jay and not Voight. Apparently Jay’s activities are getting noticed. Voigt stepped in trying to help, but unless Voight helped off screen, Jay is acting alone.

This intelligence unit sure likes to bend the rules to get things done. I think sometimes you do have to think outside of the box to get things done, but reaching the line and crossing the line are very different. I just really hope that Jay’s hands are not on this murder.

Check out the preview for next week. Jay is suspected of murder and it’s having consequences on the whole unit:
