‘PLL’: All the Fashion from Season 6 Episode 6

Hanna fashion

Orsola moto jacket by Guess, Malone silk cropped top by Rebecca Minkoff, Watson boots by Jeffrey Campbell and Michalik bag by Aldo.

I’m just loving Hanna’s looks on Pretty Little Liars this season. Each week she’s proving why she’s one of my favorite liars for fashion!

This week she wore an Orsola moto jacket by Guess, Malone silk cropped top by Rebecca Minkoff, Watson boots by Jeffrey Campbell and Michalik bag by Aldo. The bag is no longer available, but you can still by the jacket for $138 on the Guess website.

I’m enjoying the floral prints this season, so I immediately fell in love with Hanna’s jacket when she appeared on screen. I also loved the pink crop top. I loved the color and tulip-style overlay flutters. Hanna has had some nice bright looks lately and with all the darkness on PLL with the storyline, it’s nice to having something to brighten up the mood.

My other favorite fashionista on the show, Aria, had two great looks this week, even if they were both darker. I loved her tie-dye faux leather moto jacket. This was a very edgy look, especially with the tore up tee she wore underneath. This is definitely not typically something I would wear, but I think my love of Aria floods over into her fashion too. I’m just biased when it comes to her, but she looks great in everything she wears. She’s just like Emily in that way.

If you were in love with Aria’s look this week or you’re just wanting to take styling tips from her, the jacket is by Blank NYC and can be bought on the brand’s website for $128 and the tee is by Free People and you can own it for $62.36.

Earlier in the episode Aria wore a cute Jacquard animal print pelmet skirt by Topshop and ladies it’s on sale right now for $35! PLL pieces sell out fast, so make sure to get it quick!

As much as I love Spencer, she’s my least favorite fashionista on the show, but she does know how to rock a shirt dress. She wore a Marigold shirtdress by Topshop that is sold out. I told you PLL fashion sells quickly.

The only negative thing I have to say about this dress is that it feels more like a fall dress because of the colors. The orange on it just makes me think of October.

Emily from time to time wears some amazing pieces that I love, but no matter what she wears, she always looks great in them. This week she wore Gabin leather short dungarees by American Retro. Overalls are supposed to be so over, but occasionally the fashion industry tries to bring them back. This is a very modern take on the retro look. I’m totally okay if the fashon world wants this version of dungarees to be in style. It’s just a simple, but cute look. And it’s also a little edgy. And guess what, they’re on sale on ASOS for $326.2o!

‘Pretty Little Liars’ Review: Desperately Seeking ‘A’

Charles is coming home and he has a nice birthday surprise.

Charles is coming home and he has a nice birthday surprise.

We’ve been brought back around to Charles again and this time it’s clear he’s alive.

So why did Mrs. D lie to her husband and tell him that their son died? Plus on top of that lie, why did she say she had him cremated, then dug a grave for him? It’s no wonder Ali grew up to be the manipulative girl that she is, she learned it from her mother. So really we could blame everything on Mrs. D.

I never really thought Leslie was A, crazy, but not A. I was okay with believing Charles was A, but I still believe that A is a girl. I still find it hard to believe that a guy could be going all of this. For the most part A has seemed to have minions working for her/him, there could still be a number of them out there. I think the writers can tie everything back nicely to Charles though. The story so far gives him a reason to target Ali, but why did he target the other four liars? That’s still one thing they have to explain, if A is indeed Charles. Was Charles friends with Bethany and does he believe the liars killed her? We still don’t actually know who killed her, we just know Melissa buried her.

If we our tying everything up, does this mean Pretty Little Liars is coming to an end? We already know the show will be coming back for at least a seventh season and that A will be revealed before season seven, but should PLL not come to an end after the big reveal? That is the greatness about the show, the mystery. I can’t imagine the show going on for too much longer after A is finally revealed.

So is Charles really A? Or is this just another theory that doesn’t hold up?

What does Charles have planned for Mr. D? He’s already potentially killed his mother and now his father?

The other great thing about this show is the relationships. Caleb finally found a way of reaching Hanna. I was tired of seeing her push him away.

Things have been back and forth for Spencer and Toby for a while and last week I knew there was something going on between Dean and Spencer and he finally said it this week. Do we want to see a relationship between Dean and Spencer or do we just want Toby to come back? I’m torn.

As for Ezra and Aria, she could go back there if she wanted to. Him flirting with a girl that’s just passing through means nothing. He still clearly loves her. I love this couple. While at first I thought it was a crazy relationship because the teacher – student relationship is a little old now, this relationship grew into something great. At very least these two have to end up together.

For the moment Aria could spend some more time with Clarke. I would be okay with that.

Almost since the beginning of the season we’ve seen something blossoming between Sara and Emily. This week people finally started pointing it out to Em. She didn’t even realize it herself. I’m a little surprised that Sara made the first move. I don’t know whether to trust her or not. We don’t really know where Sara fits into everything. Spencer can just pass it off that Sara was just practice till A got the real Ali, but I think there’s more to it than that. When has anything been simple on PLL?

Only three more episodes until we get to meet A!

‘PLL’: All the Fashion from Season 6 Episode 5

PLL fashion

Hanna: Pineapple print full cotton skirt by MSGM, classic saddle flap crossbody bag by cooperative at Urban Outfitters. Spencer: Oversized stripe shirt by Topshop with a reflected buckle belt from Anthropologie and Jodhpur knee-high boots by Cole Haan.

My favorite look from Tuesday’s Pretty Little Liars was Hanna’s pineapple print full cotton skirt and black blazer. What I loved about this look was that yellow chunky ball necklace with a faux diamond. Usually I’m not a big fan of printed fruit, but I just love that necklace and the shape of that skirt. I think Hanna looks great in skirts and dresses! That’s all she should ever wear.

If you love this outfit too, you can by the skirt at Lane Carwford. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find were to buy the necklace, if you find it please let me know!

Aria is another liar that looks great in dresses. She wore a rainbow stripe knit dress by Karen Millen. I like this dress because of the multiple colors, but they’re not super bright. It’s a dress that could be worn all year round.

Spencer has a thing for belts. She loves to dress up her looks with a nice belt. This week she wore an oversized stripe shirt by Topshop with a reflected buckle belt from Anthropologie and Jodhpur knee-high boots by Cole Haan. This look has been so popular the shirt sold out at Nordstorm, the belt from Anthropologie and the shoes from Amazon.

How the liars can continue to dress great week after week while stressing out I will never no! Of course it all comes down to the costume designers, but still! If I was still traumatized by being kidnapped by A and still looking over my shoulder, I wouldn’t be able to wear great clothes every day.

Sometimes it’s nice when Spencer dresses down, because it feels more realistic. Like when she was popping pills to stay awake, she wasn’t so put together then.

Ali had a very casual look this week, but it looked really nice. She wore Drop Shop underlay top by Bailey 44 that can be purchased at Nordstrom. It’s cute because of the underlay. It adds a nice element to the look, but looks very comfortable. The necklace she wore was very cute too.

What was your favorite look this week?

‘Pretty Little Liars’ Review: A is Revealed to be a Girl

Who else thought A was a girl this whole time?

Who else thought A was a girl this whole time?

I was never convinced that A was a guy. I always thought A was a girl. No guy is going to be that catty. Girls fight dirtier than boys. But that doesn’t mean A isn’t a team. She can’t be everywhere at once.

I don’t believe Leslie is A. She may tie in with a lot of things, Bethany, Charles, Mona, but she’s too unstable to be A. A is on top of her game an very, very cruel. A is strategic. Leslie is too unhinged to be A. Not that A isn’t crazy too, but A seems more stable. That a side, there’s a reason Leslie didn’t want the liars to know she was in Radley, but what was it?

Mona knows something she’s not telling us. Could there have been another girl in that place? Does she know what A made Spencer do? Mona plays the innocent act so well it’s hard to tell when she’s hiding something.

Radley didn’t produce the kind of answers we were hoping for. Yes they discovered Leslie was in a Radley a long time, but they missed the biggest clue: the dead girl in the bath tub. They saw the doll and totally missed the actual dead body. Could that be the girl Spencer has been seeing in her dreams?

Now their finger prints are all over that room. Not that a lot of people go through there anymore, but if the body is found, Hanna and Spencer’s prints will be found too. Spencer is usually so thorough, could that have something to do with the weed cookies she’s been eating?

Spencer is trying to remember what happened in that place and spiked cookies are not that answer, though she finally realized that. Aria is trying the hardest to forget. She doesn’t want to talk about it or deal with it. She just wants to take her pictures.

Last week I wondered if we’d be seeing more of Clarke and this week he asked her out. Things are way too complicated in Aria’s life to be dating, especially when there’s still those unresolved feelings about Ezra. If Aria wants answers though, she’ll have to deal with what happened.

PLL is skipping a week, what will we do?! The liars will return July 14:

‘PLL’: All the Fashion from Season 6 Episode 4

Aria: pink and black lace peplum top by RVN. Hanna:

Aria: pink and black lace peplum top by RVN. Hanna: blue and pink patterned dress by Open Ceremony.

Oh the fashion in Pretty Little Liars. The show should just be a catalog because everything these liars wear are great!

I loved the pink and black lace peplum top Aria was wearing in the last two episodes. Aria is my favorite fashionista on the show. I love her knew hair cut too. It suits her very well.

I love fit and flare dresses and I really loved Hanna’s blue and pink patterned dress. You can buy this dress online at Forward for $278.

Hanna is definitely dressing for summer, even though the liars are technically at the end of their senior year. After the dress Hanna was wearing floral shorts and a cropped moto jacket. This is such a great look. It can be very casual with flats or you can dress it up with heals! I would so wear this outfit and you can too! You can buy the Ellery shorts from Club Monaco for $79.

Emily’s plaid shorts and denim jacket with leather sleeves isn’t really by style, but Ems looks great! I would never think to mix plaid with leather, but it works. If this is your look, you can by the shorts at Shopbop for $346.50.

I’ve never been a big fan of the romper, but I love the one Aria wore on Tuesday night. She wore an animal print romper by MinkPink. I loved the romper without the jacket. I love white tigers and I like how the romper mixes tiger print with zebra print. Aria really dressed it up with that neckless. I don’t think she even needed to add a jacket to this look. It was fine as is! The jacket really dressed the look up too. I loved that long-sleeve white and black colorblocked cropped jacket! I would wear this jacket with a lot of things. Lucky for us we can buy the Rachel Roy jacket at Macy’s for $59.99.

Aria was really killing it this week. I loved the rose print skinny jeans she wore at the studio. The whole look was great, but I love these jeans and thankfully Amazon is selling them for $198. I liked the black ruffled top she was wearing too.

You must be starting to see why Aria’s my favorite liar for fashion.

I loved every single look of hers from Tuesday night. She never disappoints. No wonder why her mom comes to her for fashion tips.

What was your favorite look from ‘PLL’ on Tuesday night?

‘Pretty Little Liars’ Review: It All Leads Back to Radley

A still think the liars are his/her dolls. What game will A play next?

A still think the liars are his/her dolls. What game will A play next?

If we were hoping for answers this week, we just got more questions. If Charles is dead, who is A? And why is he/she so fascinated with Charles?

I think Spencer is right. Charles has something to do with all of this. He may not be the complete key, but there’s a reason those home videos were in there. Of course it could be just A exposing the DiLaurentis’s family secret, but usually that comes with a threat.

Everything seems to come back to Radley. I think Radley is the key. The DiLaurentis faimly wouldn’t have even have relocated to Rosewood if it wasn’t for Charles being placed in that hospital and this all started with Ali. A fixated in on her and when he/she got rid of her, A started in on the other girls.

This A is a lot scarier than Mona ever was. Sure Mona tried to run Hanna down with a car, but that’s nothing compared to what the liars have gone through now.

It appears that A has put trackers in all of them, so they really can’t hide. Caleb isn’t the only one watching Hanna, but his device is only on her car, As is in them.

Did A expect them to escape at some point? He/she seems to have been prepared for that scenario.

Ezra was the voice of reason this week. He first told Spencer to tell the police everything they know. This was a good idea. The police finally understand what A is capable of, it’s time to give them the information to find him/her.

Second, Ezra tried to stop Spencer from eating the weed cookies. He’s right, the problem will still be there when it wears off and I think it will be worse. She’s already had a drug problem. She got addicted to pills twice already. Mrs. Hastings was right not to let Spencer have the prescription, but she should have substituted it with something, maybe therapy.

Busted! The liars are looking for answers, while everyone else is trying to keep them safe.

Busted! The liars are looking for answers, while everyone else is trying to keep them safe.

Spencer was on edge, so I wasn’t sure at first if maybe she should have just gotten the prescription to help her sleep. But when I saw her going through Aria’s trash, I knew it was a want and not a need.

Everyone is trying to deal with the trauma in their own way. Hanna is pushing Caleb away because he’s dealing with it by being way over protective. It’s not helping either one of them.

The girls aren’t the only ones to have gone through trauma. Their loved ones went through their own trauma when they had no idea where they were and what was happening to them.

Caleb and Mr. Montgomery are acting in very similar ways. They want desperately to protect Hanna and Aria and they are being a little over bearing.

Aria has been avoiding dealing with her feelings. Ezra wants Aria to write and Aria seems to have given up writing and taken up photography. She use to love to write. It’s awful that this tragedy has made her give up her love. Maybe her head is too dark a place to delve into at the moment. In photography it’s just what she see’s on the outside.

Emily’s dealing means helping Sara deal. Though I think Mrs. Fields is right, they are not equipped to help Sara cope. Emily was in that place for one month, Sara was in there for two years. That’s very different.

Is there anything more to be learned from Charles? I didn’t believe Mr. D from the beginning. Hanna and Spencer both thought he was lying and Charles was alive. Mr. D doesn’t appear to be lying though, but Mrs. D is known for her lies. That’s how Ali learned how to weave her lies.

Mrs. D did lie. Charles died, but she buried him, she didn’t scatter his ashes. If only Mrs. D was alive, maybe she could tell them something more, that is if she was willing to tell the truth.

We don’t know the full extent to what the liars went through, but it looks like we’ll be learning as the season progresses. We keep getting flashbacks of that place. We finally know what happened to Aria’s hair. I thought it was so strange that her hair was cut and highlighted, but now we know why.

Spencer seems to have the worst flashbacks so far. Her sleep deprivation has caused a gap in her memory. She woke up with blood on her hands and blood smeared across the floor. Did she hurt someone or is it as Hanna said, more mind games?

Ali learned one more truth about her late brother, he tried to kill her. What exactly was wrong with him and how does he lead back to A?

Next week the liars go back to Radley to get answers:

Obsessed with ‘Pretty Little Liars’

Pretty_Little_Liars_new_poster_season_5_July_2014I put off watching ‘Pretty Little Liars’ for a long time. I thought I was too old to watch a high school show. And you know you’re old when the mother of the stars was the star in one of your teen shows (Holly Marie Combs played Piper Halliwell on ‘Charmed’ and plays one of the Liars’ mothers, Ella Montgomery). What I didn’t realize was how beyond high school the storyline went and when you stop to think that they are just teenagers, it makes the plot even more suspenseful.

In the first season I got stuck on some of the truly high school moments, but I kept watching and by the second season I was addicted. I only started watching the series a few weeks ago and I’ve already caught all the way up to season six. I’m actually a bit sad that I’m up-to-date with the show, that means I can no longer just press play. How can I possibly wait weekly for another clue about who ‘A’ is?! I finally know what everyone is talking about.

I love the four little liars, but I think I like Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) and Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) the best. I love how competitive Spencer is. She’ll do just about anything to win. The mystery of ‘A’ has got her so twisted up that everything that was important to her has been forgotten. She fixates on one thing until she gets all the answers. This sometimes gets on my nerves, but it definitely propels the storyline. This trait has been seen more and more with the other liars too throughout the series.

I like Aria because she’s really smart about literary things, which I think is what brought her and Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) together. I’ve enjoyed watching their romance and all the obstacles they’ve had to break through. And this girl knows how to dress. All the liars have great taste in fashion. They all have their distinct style. Aria and Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) are my favorite liars for fashion. I don’t think I’ve seen an outfit on these girls I didn’t like.

The only little liar I really don’t like is Hanna. She has no filter and I get mad at how incentive she can be. She does some really stupid things, but she has a really big heart. Sometimes she needs to take a moment to think about what she’s going to say and do. While Hanna may be my least favorite liar, I really like her relationship with Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn). Just like all of the boyfriends on the show, Caleb would do anything for Hanna. She’s grown a lot with him and it’s nice that she has someone looking out for her, with all of the mistakes she makes. But at least those mistakes are made with the best intentions.

Most TV shows have couples together for a season or two, especially teen shows. ‘PLL’ has prolonged all of the relationships. Most of the relationships have spanned most of the series. They’ve been off and on, but always find their way back to each other. Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) is the only one that’s had the most relationships on the show. I’ve enjoyed watching Emily find her way. It’s hard for me to pick favorites. I say I like Aria and Spencer the best, but I also really like Emily. I think in any given episode my favorite character can change. It depends on what they are going through and the character development happening. There is a lot of character development that goes on and the actors really do a great job when the characters are at their breaking points.

The writing on this show is great. I can love a character and then the writers can make me hate the character and go back to liking them again. The writers really know how to pull at my emotions.

There’s been so many possibilities for ‘A’, but at this point when the writers give us a clue about a particular person, I assume they’re not ‘A’. It’s clear that the real ‘A’ won’t be revealed until the end at this point.

I wonder if the writers have known who ‘A’ is from the beginning. There’s been so many clues at this point, I just want them all to add up. I hope they’ve known who ‘A’ is all along. The story and suspense has just been building since the beginning.

It started out with ‘A’ bullying them with their secrets and it’s turned into murder and kidnapping. Whoever ‘A’ is, they have some major pull to frame the girls for murder and kidnap them right out of police custody.

From the beginning ‘A’ has been using their lies against them and turning the town against them. When Ali returned she seemed to help ‘A’ with his/her agenda. It was just more likes on top of more lies. Haven’t they learned by now that ‘A’ will throw their lies back in their face? Now the liars are truly victims and they are still left out in the cold. What is ‘A”s endgame? Will he/she stop when they are all destroyed or dead?

I was sucked into this ‘Gossip Girl’ meets ‘Veronica Mars’ show and now I can’t stop watching the mystery of ‘A’.

Here’s the promo for season six of ‘PLL’:
