‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Wins Big at People’s Choice Awards

peeps-choice‘Grey’s Anatomy’ had a great night on Wednesday at the 2015 People’s Choice Awards.

The show took home four awards including Favorite TV Character We Miss the Most. Sandra Oh is no longer playing Dr. Cristina Yang, but fans clearly wish Yang was still working at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ also won Favorite Network TV Drama. Ellen Pompeo, James Pickens Jr., Jesse Williams, Sarah Drew, Camilla Luddington and Kelly McCreary accepted the award. Ellen took point on the acceptance speech.

“We’re 11 seasons in and your passion for the show keeps us going. We love going to work everyday because you love to watch us…. We are so grateful for you hanging in with us for this long and we love you and appreciate you so much. Thank you,” Ellen said.

Ellen also won the award for Favorite Dramatic TV actress and Patrick Dempsey won Dramatic TV Actor, but he was not in attendance.

Last year the CW won big, but this year the network came away with four awards.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ won for Favorite Network Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV show and Kristin Kreuk won for Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress.

Misha Collins beat out his two ‘Supernatural’ co-stars, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, and Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley from ‘The Vampire Diaries’ for Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor.

Last year Ian and Nina Dobrev won for Favorite Screen Chemistry and this year they won the award for Favorite TV Duo.
