Jensen Ackles will be in the director’s chair for the fourth time next season.

According to Enstars, Jensen, 36, will be directing the third episode of season ten. Not only that, the episode will be the first to be filmed. ‘Supernatural’ is filming the the third episode before the premiere this season.

The actor spent the last week of his vacation prepping for the episode he will be directing, Enstars reported.

He has also directed episode four of season six, ‘Weekend at Bobby’s’, episode three of season seven, ‘The Girl Next Door,’ and episode three of season eight, ‘Heartache’.

The Australian International Business Times said, Jensen took a break from directing in season nine because his wife, Danneel Ackles, gave birth to their daughter.

According to IBT, Russ Hamilton teased the “premiere episode will be epic and full of Goosebumps from the intense and surprising scenes.”

The location manager also tweeted: “EPICsode 1001. Page 32. Scene 35. Exterior. Day. Wow! Wow!! WOW!!! Pivotal moment, possible Goosebumps.”

The biggest question going into season ten is how will Sam save Dean this time? Dean’s been to heaven, hell and purgatory, but he’s never been a demon before.

‘Supernatural’ will return to The CW on October 7 at 9 p.m. ET.
