Everyone was planning for their future this week. Korsak is trying to figure out what that future is, Frankie is trying to propel is career, Jane is thinking about her baby and Maura is thinking about Jane’s baby too. This was all brought on by a particularly interesting case about doomsday guys. The poor guy was planning for the end of the world, but what ends up taking his life, is his own friend.
Frankie seemed to know a lot about these guys. He’s seen more in the episodes now. It almost seems as the writers are prepping him to take Frost’s place. Frankie is now taking computer engineering classes. I think Frost would be very proud of him. Frost was very good at the computer stuff. They really do need someone to fill that gap now that he’s gone. Frankie can’t fill the other gaps that Frost has left though.
Does it seem like since Jane got pregnant that she’s been in more danger than usual? Last week she lunged to shoot at suspect and fell down and knocked the wind out of herself. This week she got blown back by a bomb. One that could have killed both her and Korsak if they had been any closer. No wonder Angela is worried about her. I’m glad Angela brought up Jane’s safety. I realize it’s apart of the job and show, but it seems like the safety issue is conveniently forgotten when characters get pregnant in this type of show. The show is a crime fighting show, so Jane has to keep working, but realistically her safety is a bigger issue now.
Will Korsak really retire? Logically it makes sense him thinking about retirement, but for the shows sake I hope it was just a thought and nothing else.
