Callie was having a really hard time. She was fighting to fix a young girl’s legs and the girl gave up and just wanted them amputated. Then Derek had to tell her that they couldn’t continue their research because the White House wanted control over his equipment. Then it turns out that the anonymous complaint was towards Callie and not Arizona. It was all to much for Callie to take and it seemed like that was a breaking point for her and Arizona.
But Arizona finally let Callie in. She’s been trying to figure out who she is again without the leg and Callie said she shouldn’t have to give up anything. They were getting her to wear her roller sneakers again. Maybe this is a sign Arizona can find herself again after everything.
Will Cristina and Owen rekindle their relationship? Owen ended his relationship and Cristina clearly still has feelings for him. They only broke up because they wanted different things, but maybe what they want isn’t so different anymore.
Stephanie is trying to move forward from Jackson but when everyone at the hospital knows what happened it’s hard. Plus cheering for her hitting Jackson with the gurney did not help. At least the two of them got some closure.
Alex really cares for Joe and doesn’t want to do anything to screw it up. It was sweet that he proposed to Joe, but I get that she’s not ready. Now Meredith has come up with a way for them to be together and Alex is freaked out that it will push her away. It’s not a marriage, it’s a piece of paper making it legal for them to be together and I don’t think it’s a big declaration. I don’t think Joe will mind it. I get that he’s afraid, but that fear could push her away too.
Check out the preview for next week. Jackson’s mom wants a prenup and Callie files a lawsuit against Derek:
