They finally get Elena back and she’s been injected with a virus and Wes is dead. I guess it shouldn’t have come to any surprise that Katherine struck back before dying. I’m surprised she even showed up to say goodbye to her daughter though. That’s so not like Katherine. It’s moments like those that you start to like Katherine, but then she goes and hurts Elena yet again.
It’s kind of funny thinking that a lot of the bad that Katherine has done has actually been good. She killed Caroline, but Caroline is much happier as a vampire. She turned Damon, but he’s also happier as a vampire. He turned Stefan and well he’s miserable as a vampire, but he got to meet Elena and fall madly in love and he got to have a great time with his best friend Lexi. It’s kind of 50/50 in what she did for Tyler. It was horrible when he was werewolf and when he was sired to Klaus, but Tyler seems to like being a hybrid.
We might not be completely rid of Katherine. She couldn’t cross over to the other side. I don’t know if that means she went to hell or somewhere else.
Tyler does need to get over Caroline sleeping with Klaus. As Caroline said, he bit Nadia and no one cares. Nadia’s only crime was being born to Katherine. Will Caroline and Tyler be able to work this out?
It’s nice to have Elena back, but now they have to save her once again. Damon has done a lot of horrible things since she has been gone. Can Elena get past it all?
